We are going to see a “host of golden daffodils” this Spring. Wordsworth’s poem about daffodils empowered him to put his problems into perspective and transform his sadness into joy and reflect upon the beauty of what he had seen. Very appropriate for the extreme times we are going through right now.
A resident in our parish has kindly donated daffodil bulbs, of which we are extremely grateful for. Volunteers have been busy planting them in Sharpenhoe, Bushmead, Streatley and on the roundabout on the A6. A big thank you to you all.
