Earlier in the year South Beds Dial-a-Ride approached councillors for support using Covid-19 Ward Councillor grants and a few of us clubbed together to enable a team to fit Covid-19 protection in the minibuses.
Also following a recent application to the National Lottery Community Fund we have been successful and awarded significant funding for an extension to our usual range of services, especially aimed at those having difficulty finding ‘safe’ transport during this pandemic.
