It is with the saddest regret that we announce the death of
Retired Cllr Jim Carrington on 7th September 2020.
He served on the Parish Council for 7 years,
representing the village of Sharpenhoe.
He worked tirelessly for the safety of the village and achieving the 30mph limit through the village.
Although aware, he sadly did not live to see its final completion. Amongst his many other
achievements, he was also responsible for organising
the Sharpenhoe Village Sign.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
