Are you fed up with speeding traffic where you live? It would be worthwhile recording all your concerns on Central Bedfordshire Council’s portal. Details of the link are here https://www.cb-report-it.co.uk/general.aspx Speeding is a criminal offence and therefore prosecution is the responsibility of the Police. The more reports they get, the more prioritisation they give to the issue.
You could also set up a COMMUNITY SPEEDWATCH group in your area. https://www.communityspeedwatch.org/FRONT-Main.php
